Default Making a Hondata Basemap

I'm getting ready to go get tuned, I have a Stage 4, and I talked to Shawn Church about making a basemap since I have the Romeditor, but I forgot the specific directions he gave me. He closed down his shop temporarily so I can't contact him, can someone else give me directions, or maybe just send me a copy of a good map for my setup....

Hondata Stage 4B
Stock bore B18C1
9.0:1 pistions
3 bar map sensor
780cc injectors

All I remember him saying was start with a B16 map, then just set it fro the injectors and 3bar, raise the displacement, and i think raise everything on the tables by .75-1.00.

I would appreciate any help, TIA.

I used that procedure for creating a start map.

I started with the JDM P30 standard fuel and timing basemaps, set the injector correction factor to account for my 310's and the increase in displacement, and then set the misc. parameters (ie: idle, VTEC cross, etc.).

In vacuum, the map was about 10% rich over stoich in the closed loop part on the LO cam and about the same in the open loop sections with target AFR's at 13.5:1 to 13.0:1.

It's better to let it run rich tho and let the oxygen sensor trim it back until you tune it. 10% overly rich is probably around 13.5:1 if you let it run in open loop.

ON this map:
FPR set at 47psi
Injctors 780cc
idle speed 900
rev limit 8484
boost cut 9lbs
vtec @ 4807
Check your email

On this map
FPR 50psi
Injectors 780
idle speed 1000
rev limit 8484
boost cut 18lbs
vtec 5208
Check your email

Reameamber, these maps are not to race on they are just maps that will get you to the tunner so dont floor it unless you have a wideband and can moniter your afr, i am pretty sure you have a bigger turbo than a tdo5 - 18g which will require more fuel.. have fun with your project.. .if you need to burn any other maps just pm or email me.. turbo_b18c1@sbcglobal.net
