Making backdoor on intercooler
I want to make a backdoor on my intercooler for I can fit the full-race traction bars. My question is what's the best way to clean out the intercooler after making the hole? Will blowing the intercooler out with air get all the metal shavings out from inside the intercooler? Thanks

put thick grease around the cut before you make it. that will trap most of cuttings. Then wipe it from the inside out with a small clean cloth. then maybe flush it put w/ water. make sure you clean all the grease off or you won't be able to weld it. use a hole saw too.

My IC piping is right in the way of where the mount goes for the traction bars. The mount goes where the toe hook is. I can mount the crossmember with no problem but where the tie rods mount to the crossmember, the IC piping is right in the way.
