i guess what im saying is that i don't want to have to pay for custom b/c that is upwards of 1k and i want a prefabbed one that i can buy and the only ones i have founf are maxrev and spoolinperformance are the ones that have log style for sale for cheap and high quality, do any others have them made that i haven't found???

south florida performance is about the only thing that comes to mind. http://www.sfp.net - I think they quoted me around $400 or so - that was a while ago though.

Thats the problem with people now-a-days, you want the best quality, but dont want to pay for it. Best = $$$...cost to be the boss mang.

I'm pretty sure they make them - as does any competent fabricator. They probably don't have them sitting on the shelf, but I'd think they still have the jigs set up to make them. You're going to have to do a little legwork. Perhaps email or call?

You gotta pay to play..

And whats wrong with homemade stuff.. Do you think that stuff that is mass produced on an assembly line is better than something that is hand made..

I have a "crappy homemade" setup and I think its pretty quick considering most of the cars that I beat at the track have the "best quality" parts on them..

well what i was talking about i guess i have seen some manifolds that look like crap, i.e the welds are terrible and the collector looks like something from a horror show and they crack thats what i mean, i want it too look good and preform, and something that has a track record also helps. Someone that has experience with a product that i could listen to. Who made your homemade one and do you have a picture of it and dyno or something to see how it preforms and one more thing your prefprms cuz you know how to drive too

sorry I missed replying to your thread earlier... I was working.

my setup:
ss custom tubular shorty manifold.
garrett t3/60-1
ss 3" dp
ss 2.5" charge piping
big spearco
tial 35mm
blitz bov
dsm 450's
etc, etc.

definately go with good fuel management... it is definately worth it... I am in the process of upgrading my stuff to run more boost safely (right now I am running 10 psi max). p28 conversion, 3bar, and some uberdata tuning should suit me very well.

there is lots of options for fuel management... you could go a route like I am and spend less but learn more. you could go with hondata which is pay a little more and learn less, or then the almighty aem ems is the cream of the crop and you pay accordingly.
