One of my buddy's is leaning towards going LSV. Already got a B18B block with LS/LSD tranny and just seeing charts or opinions on either a B16 or GSR head. As far as I searched up there's a minimal difference yet a B16 head is easier to come upon and cheaper but his plans are to be bored out, new cams, 550cc fuel inject., pistons, rods, built top and bottom either way, boosted by gear, maybe 12-16. Aside from money, just would like to hear on some opinions on which route would be creating the most power.

If it's your friend doing all of this, why is it you posting and not him? These third party threads never end well. If your friend is talking about "fully building" it, then it doesn't particularly matter what what head you start with. Just get whatever you can and go for it. Also tell your friend to forget about a specific injector size, or PSI. Figure out a power goal, and build around that. And get rid of that Gd awful LS transmission and get a GSR.
