Something very bad happened yesterday my main cap bolts were over tightened and the threads were striped. do i get the block tapped? how is this prosses done? when i do that are the arp bolts just going to fit. or do i have to get bigger custom bolts.what do they do to that block for a situation like this? thanks

you "might" be able to have new threads tapped into the block. but im not to sure.

your gonna have to take it to a good machine shop to have them maybe heli-coil it or maybe even install a time sert. after that it would be a good idea to have the main bores line honed.
