Icon2 LS/V-T piston ring gaps???

Just wondering what are some general piston ring gaps that you guys have used/heard of for turbo, i'm building up my ls/vtec turbo to run 10-15psi (3-350whp), it's a daily driver, and going to hit the roadcourse Buttonwillow a few times as well.

i've got CP 9.0:1 pistons 81.5mm... the little card that came with the pistons says to set the 2nd ring slightly larger gap than the first.

according to it's cleacalculations, I want a minimum clearance of .017, but for turbo around .020?

i measured the clearance of the rings as they came to me

top ring: .015

2nd ring: .024

would I be fine just filing the top ring to around .020 and then leaving the 2nd ring how it is? Or just let me know some suggestions, thanks guys.

18 to 20 on top is good. Don't go any larger on the second ring I'm surprised there that size from cp.

that's actually good they came small. it's very easy to file fit larger, if they come too large....well.. you're just stuck 18 and 24 sounds good to me, 15 is an NA number
