LS turbo question?
Im thinking about putting a turbo on my ls. I was wondering would it be possible to piece together my own turbo kit. Where would i go about buying all the parts. And would it be recommended to buy maybe a dsm turbo? or get one of a wrecked car?

Don't go with a stock mitsu turbo if you have the choice, it's like getting a sex change operation, but opting for the baby dick.
You can look for a used turbo manifold + turbo in the classifieds, but I would look at a brand new manifold and turbo so you are guaranteed no cracks or a screwed up turbo. Some of the guys on here have pieced together turbos from junkyards, but you need to know what you are looking at. It is not too difficult to put together a good 'custom' kit, but you need to do research to fin the parts that you will really want. DO LOTS OF RESEARCH !
