Default Ls rods in b18c5?

have a b18c5 bottom end in the car now and building it for moderate boost.

I was going to replace the pistons with RW 9:1 comp pistons.

I have Eagle Rods for an LS laying around that would cost me no more additional money. Question is with the LS rods on the b18c5 crank what kind of rod to stroke am i looking at? how does that compare to the stock ls,gsr,b16a? Is it feasible or is it going to be a reliability problem? Anyone done this or know what i can search for in the search?

I cant remember, but i think ls rods are shorter dur to the longer stroke of an ls crank? Makes sense it me. I dont think this would work properly. Throw an ls crank is there for some added tq... Then you can run those rods...While youre at it buy pistons...

Thanks for the response, i have a ls crank sitting around so that is def. an option.

Ls crank and rods on a taller deck? Would it be the same result as ls/vtec without the external oil line?

LS block is the same height as a c1/c5 block. Yes, it would be a "proper ls/vtec", but i wouldn't even call it that. Its a stroked c5r engine. Displacement would be 1848cc opposed to 1798cc?

Someone verify this...
