Ls oil pump?
What up everybody. I'm a newbie so I'll give a quick intro:
My name is Jay and I have a 99 Si w/ a Drag GenIII. Stock B16 internals it dynoed at 251hp (I don't have the chart but i forget tq #'s) at 10 almost 11 psi. Best 1/4 time was 12.4 @ 110 on slicks. Winter project underway is LS/VTEC. Anyway, I know everyone says to install a vtec oil pump, but I checked part #'s and the 98-up b-series oil pumps are all the same p/n. Has anyone else seen this? My block is a 2000 so should I leave that oil pump in there?
