LS motor w/ B16 tranny?
I know the B18s arent know for their stratospheric RPM and the B16 trannies go through the gears fast, so will I have zero traction or what (15" wheels)? I hate no traction!!! and I'd rather not have to get a Quiafe anytime soon, any suggestions or thoughts?!? Thanks

Re: LS motor w/ B16 tranny? (AVATAR)
I have an LS w/ B16 tranny (in CRX) and even naturally aspirated with 195/50/15 S-03s ... From a roll in first gear on dry pavement I will spin all the way to redline and spin for the first half or so of second. Lots of torque to the wheels, but the gears top out at low speed. Lots of shifting. It's great fun though.

The only downside is the high revving on the highway. The performance is much better with the b16a tranny. With the power you are gonna make, traction will be an issue regardless. Use the b16 tranny and get some drag radials for the street.
