ppl say to go with the LS motor do to that fact of the low compression. my question is i only wanna boost around 8psi. what motor would be better to boost a GSR or LS ?

IMO: LS... torque monster!
(mainly because you can run 8lbs of boost safer since the compression is lower)

then again... people have their opinions.. and i know what they will wanna say after they read what i just posted.

here are some ideas:
-GSR... more compression... more power.
-GSR... with tuning
-blah blah blah! hehe

 

Boost for Boost, the GSR will make more HP.

yeah. you dont even have to use search, just scroll down on the page. there is always a discussion on ls vs gsr turbos. if that doesnt work for u try search. there is a huge amount of info on B18B turbo stuff there, i know i've been reading all the info for a while now. oh yeah, i say gsr turbo cause im goin ls turbo and would like to beat you in a race then, hahah

heres my question for you? is money an issue?
meaning if you blow up the GSR motor will you be assed out on money for another motors? If yes then stick with the LS motor and parts are cheaper.
IF NO then ditch the GSR and get ImportBuilder package3(b20vtec) with boost hehe..
