LS downpipe O2 bung location????

Default LS downpipe O2 bung location????

right now i have my O2 bung welded just before the cat on my downpipe.....but i keep trhowing cel's for O2 sensor....i think its not getting hot enough! where is the stock location for the O2 on a LS mtor(i am running a PR4 ecu 90-91 LS teg)???? about how far down my downpipe from the manifold should i put a new bung in?????

You are running non-OBD, it should be close to the exhaust flange for a non-heated one wire O2.
Mine is about 5 inches from the exhaust flange. Maybe a little less.

ok cool.....yah i think mine is just tooo far away and not getting hot enough since i just replaced the O2 and it still throws the code! ill go get it rewelded tomorrow or somethin! thanks again!

hey check out this site. you might just want to wire in a heated o2 sensor. supposedly it makes a big difference. http://ludicrous2_0.tripod.com/how_to/oxy/
