Default Lower compression headgasket for D16Y8?

My stock headgasket is blown, so I'm replacing it with ARP headstuds. However, I was thinking would a lower compression headgasket be an easier (cheaper) way to make more power / run more boost on stock internals? Do you recommend any particular brands of lower comp. HGs?

Get a OEM HG I can hook you up cause my bro works at Honda. Cost me like 36 dollars for one. Get the studs from Lightningmotorsports.com think it cost me 90 for 3 day air.
