Default Low temp themostat

I'm looking for a low temp themostat and found one from mugen @ $75.00. (operates form 154-177) So I checked out ebay and found one from Gates racing$13.00 (operates at 170) and wanted to know if anyone knows anything about Gates and would recomend there products.

Im down with Gates They make good timing belts for much cheaper than greddy/toda also...
