Default Low compression k20a3 question.

I'm not very fond of forced induction since I'm a NA fan, but it's a bit tempting...

I've been reading that the lower compression of the k20a3 is somewhat beneficial for boosting, as compared to the k20a2's slightly higher compression.

My question is: When is the lower compression actually beneficial?

For instance, would a small turbo at low boost produce more power in a k20a2 or an a3? How about a small turbo at high boost levels?

Or would extensive and proper tuning even it out?

Low compression is good with boost because you can make more power safely on pump gas. Since most of us have daily drivers on pump gas this is a good thing.

If you already got the a3, boost it..it seems like they have a plastic intake manifold? might need to change that....if you have or are getting the a2 just make sure you have a good tuner. You'll need it with 11:1 compression.
