Loud pop sound!
My car is a del sol b16a turbo! My exhaust setup is 2.5 dp straight into 2.5 piping all the way back to the axel back section that is still stock! I have no cat, the piping is welded directly to the dp! When i hit the gas, when the rpm's are coming back down, sometimes i get a pop like a backfire??? What causes this, not having a cat? I didn't have a cat on my last car, but it wasn't FI. TIA! This is annoying as hell!
Sometimes the exhaust gases that comes out from the exhaust ports may explode in the exhaust manifold because your running too rich (exhaust scavenging, may pull some of the fresh air/fuel right past the combustion chamber into the exhaust ports)
I am using a fmu! I don't have a whole lot of control, But I have stopped using the inline fuel pump that came with my drag kit!

Annoying? I think it's kinda cool. LOL. My car does it even with a cat on. Then again, I'm running really rich.

That's a no no, you need the pump because your stock pump isn't going to be able to support the high fuel pressures.

That would be fun, but I'm too chicken shiet of getting busted w/o a cat. Also my eyes water when I don't have the cat on and chicks don't dig the smell either. LOL
