just got my ecu socketed and had s300 installed with a base map for my setup, and als just installed obd1 injector clips to run rc injectors. startd the car and took it for a spin around the block and the speedometer wasnt working and the lights began to get week then it just lost power and shut off. seems like a battery problem but its a brand new battery. could this be a short or alternator? any sugestions are appreciated

 

check your fuses...

Sounds like your speed sensor went bad... Speed sensor is on the same fuse as your alternator...
