I bought a used kit awhile back and all the blank pant is chiped and just looks run down. I wanted to clean it up and make it look nice agian so i wanted some tips on what you guys used to paint or turn it back to chrome.


I have done 1 pipe so far with the wire brush taking away all the black paint. But now it looks all scracthed up. Should i go back and buy a fine wire brush now and buff it out?

What type of paint do you buy to paint charge pipes. (mild steel)

try a fine steel wool, it cleaned up my diy alum charge pipes nice

 

There is a spray on product called airfcraft paint remover. find it any hardware store, spray it on and let sit for 5 min and then all the paints gone...Works amazing.
