Default looking for a small 4" inlet filter

hi guys
i have a d16 with a 3076 mounted on a fullrace ramhorn and i want to mount a filter directly on the turbo so i'm looking for a very small 4" inlet filter i cant find a HKS mushroom in a 4" id.

What's the maximum height allowed? I'm using the same turbo and the inlet faces the power steering cooler lines so I had to dig around AEM's catalog to find one that barely fits. I can probably get the AEM filter part number from one of the old receipts.

bpi intakes uses a verysmall k$N,check them out

kandn and told me that this filter is not ment to be bolted directly on the turbo,

never had a problem had it on there for years. saw a 1 whp difference at 450+whp.

I suggest you get some piping made and mount the filter on that away from the bay, unless of course you don't care about a heat soaked filter sucking in warm air. Good luck

I've been running that filter for a couple of years because that is ALL I have room for. I'm not making big power like some of you guys, but that filter seems fine for me so far.
