Default Looking for recommendations for tuners in the midwest....

Looking for a recommendation for a tuner in the midwest. Im from illinois and willing to drive 5-8 hours away. I'm looking for someone who is reputable, has a good history in the business, and is knowledgeable about tuning. The only guy that I knew of around here was dave from whip, but as far as I know he's gone...and the guy who tuned my last car was Tom from payn tech who is also now gone. Any help is appreciated. If you do recommend someone please let me know what setup they tuned for you, how long its been running, how much power, etc.

TIA

Ive talked to several different people and everyone said they cannot get a hold of him. Has anyone heard anything good or bad about SSC in Indiana?

Hey Dunc...whats your exact setup? How long has it been running tuned like it is?

SC34dx... have you been tuned by either one of those shops? If so, whats your setup? how much power did you make...how long has it been running from the tune?

Have you tried emailing him? He always seems to respond to me just fine. Click on the "My Garage" link and just scroll to the bottom. I haven't updated my Cardomain link and won't just yet since I'm at work. That exact setup has been 100% daily driven now for ~40,000 miles and I think it's coming up on 3.5 years I think now. Nothing at all has needed to be replaced because of the tune in that time.

Happy tuner hunting

dave moved to miami, but still comes up every month or so to tune, so if you get a hold of him im sure you could arrange something. i believe his email is suprdave123@yahoo, but i could be wrong. talk to the guys up at the whip factory, i'm sure they got his number or something.

Bob Mahoney of Cleveland,Ohio. Tuned car in sig. Knows hondas inside and out, not only did he tuned my Crvtec, but he came over my house and built it. He tunes in private and is very good with quality and prices.
He drove 1 hour to my house each day for 3 days to get my car in shape (ran into a few issues with my wiring set up) even gave me an ecu for free because mine took a crap.
I dont have contact info as of now,but can get it if you are interested.

cornbredtuning.com

andy and adam will travel , and are very flexible with shedules usually.

both EFI101 certified, and redzcstandardhatch approved (and buddies of mine.. quality knowledgable dudes)..

they will tune anything for the most part, and have a lot of experience

did no one read my post? dave comes back up to tune still, you just have to get ahold of him and schedule and appointment for when he'll be back up.
