Re: looking for a new clutch............d series (97grnrs)
On ebay, I payed the price of a clutch from kragens +$25 for:
Proclutch 6 puck Stage III
I think it was close to $150 shipped.
It has lasted 30,000 miles, and I am considering not removing it from the D15B when I put the boosted motor in the Ricer.
Now the clutch: make sure there is no air in your clutch line, and that there is new fluid, or it will be twice as chattery as you can imagine. It is VERY VERY grabby.... No joke. Just don't burn it and it will last a long while. If you get the nack, you won't have a problem in stop-n-go, but you won't like it I can assure you. To this day, there were only 2 others aside from myself that could use reverse with that clutch without chattering it, killing the motor or burning the clutch were 2 individuals =P My only rant was that after 20,000 miles the TOB's outer housing came off and rattled.
But this is also coming from the person thats 92 Civic LX 4D had the OEM clutch for 220,000 miles.
