Default looking for input...motor will be sitting for a few weeks...

my turbo is at garrett right now being looked at for warranty replacement. anyway, all fluid has been drained out of the motor, all lines have been capped off. Just was wondering if anyone had some input on if there is anything for the motor while I wait for the turbo to get back.

is this a short block or long block?

Maybe some WD40 so it wont rust?

it's a longblock, the entire engine is still in the car. the only piece removed was the turbo, intercooler, and piping. manifolds are all still on.

itll be fine. Ive seen motors sit for years in garages then fire right up with now problems. Maybe just spray some wd40 into the cylinders before you start it up again.
