Looking for a bigger turbo........
Well, recently I parked my loud, windy, and abused 91 CRX Si in favor of a more comfy '90 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. It's got all those nice features and **** a daily driver ought to have. Even the ole factory turbo.........which is TOO DAMN SMALL !
Anybody know of some decently sized turbo's that would be a pretty much bolt up affair? I was thinking that maybe one of those GTiR T28's or something. Yeah I know this is kinda a retarded question, but it's FI related.........And I'd rather not venture over to http://www.DSMtalk.com just yet

From the little DSM knowledge that i have gotten over the years the 16g seems to be a very popular upgrade. There are a few version however, and the most desirable is the lancer evo large housing one. That turbo with an upgraded intercooler, piping, injectors, fuel pump and afc got a friend into the mid 12's on street tires (gsx). The 16g will bolt up to the stock manifold, and is still a quick spooling turbo from what he told me about it.
No Nissan turbo will work. The flange is completely unrelated. DSM's have a totally unique flange. BTW, get a 16G. Bolt in. This turbo will suit you quite well I'm sure. Relatively inexpensive as well.
This may just be me, But I think the 16G is too small of an "upgrade".
If you want a larger turbo just save the money and get something like the 18G.
My freind had a 16G on his talon, and It felt almost like the stock 14B, just with a little more top end. He finally switched to a 18G and the car is now so much faster at the same boost level. IMHO, I like the higher top-end on his car with the 18G rather then the 16G.
