Looking for basic turbo set-up
I'm looking into turboing my auto accord LX
something basic but something to have fun with.
would I be able to run just a stock DSM (14b) turbo at 6-9psi without any FMS, Injectors, etc... on a stock f22b2 engine?
so i'd just basicly be:
Stock engine & tranny with a 14b turbo at 6-9psi running to an intercooler (maybe even no intercooler)
Thanks,
Nick

Unforturnately no, that would be very unwise. You may want to consider switching to a manual transmission before such a project. Yes, there are automatic turbo cars out there, but they also have certain perameters set in the ecu in which it will release the pressure in between auto gear shifts.
the 14b wouldn't do squat. you'd spend so much on even making the manifold, it hard to see where the "budget" would end.

Re: Looking for basic turbo set-up (TheShodan)
I know there was someone in the accord section who had a 14psi boosted auto accord... so I know it's possible...i dunno
