Default A long wait (Full Race)

I was waiting for someone to host these pictures but they are very busy this weekend. I have been waiting five plus months for these rods. I got Eagle rods but my power goal went up and I didn't feel too good about Eagle rods. I have seen people make some impressive power but I was thinking about them every day. I traded those in for a clutch (which is now sold, lol) and bought Pauter rods. Well, month after month no rods. It turns out the guy I bought them from was having problems with his distributor which was no fault of his. We were trying to find someone with Pauter's instock but I saw Full Race was producing modified Manley rods so I went with them.

* Rods forged from 4340 aircraft quality vacuum degassed material.
* Fully machined to produce the lightest and strongest rods possible.
* Rod bolts are 3/8" ARP 2000 bolts.
* Shot peened after machining and 100% magnafluxed.

Full Race was nice enough to send the rods out before the check cleared (not my check) because they understood my situation after I talked to them over the phone.

My setup as it sits right now consists of the following. I'm probably missing a couple things but ...

* B16a block (this was to minimize the down time)
* B16a block acid dipped by Engine Lab of Tampa
* B16a block resleeved by Golden Eagle Mfg with Golden Eagle Mfg Godzilla sleeves
* B16a block bored by Golden Eagle Mfg from 81.00mm to 84.00mm
* B16a block line bored by Golden Eagle Mfg
* B16a blocked honed by Golden Eagle Mfg
* B16a block decked by Golden Eagle Mfg
* B16a block o-ringed by Golden Eagle Mfg
* B16a block jet washed by Golden Eagle Mfg
* ENDYN 9.2:1 Roller-Wave forged pistons
* ENDYN piston rings
* ENDYN pins
* Full Race connecting rods
* ARP 2000 rod bolts
* MSD 72 lb/hr 2 ohm fuel injectors (10.5 * 72 = 756cc) FOR SALE WITH FREE MSD OBD-I CLIPS
* Walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump
* ARP head studs
* Port Flow inner valve springs
* Acura Integra Type-R outer valve springs (bought directly from Acura)
* TiAL 50.5mm blowoff valve
* PWR radiator
* Acura Integra Type-R intake manifold (bought directly from Acura)
* Hondata intake manifold gasket
* GEM overbored Honda head gasket
* GEM vacuum manifold
* Blitz SBC-iD
* Jim Fab cross member
* Blitz Nur Spec
* Precision SC61

Thanks to John @ Secret Services for hosting the pictures.

question: how exactly are the Full-Race rods different than Manleys ? is it only because Full-Race loads them with the upgraded rod bolts ?

considering picking up a set very soon.

Quick replies for a Sunday

I should be done by February of 2004. I still have quite a bit I want to add to the setup. I have less than two weeks to find a new chassis.

Looking for some good track times rather than dyno numbers

AESOP- correct.

Thanks John. Going to look better in a couple months

Also, allot of this setup I thank VaporTrail/John for recommending. He recommended allot of the parts and allot of builders (CompTech, IB, Etc.) said it was a good setup. I agree 110% too.
