Why are you line Honing? Shouldnt have to do that. Actually its not advised to, if possible.

There hasn't been any issues with Tunertoys rods. I think what peoples' point is is that Eagles have been around the block for a couple more dollars.

earl also posted something about not using ACL race bearings unless you a using it as strictly a drag car.......... i think the issue was higher clearances that arent need for a DD or weekend car.....

ditch the ACL race bearings for the standard bearings unless you like to rebuild your bottom end often.
but if it were up to me i would choose OEM honda bearings.

I guess my point is eagle's are only a couple bucks more, and have been proven in hundreds of applications.
there has been no negative press about tuner toys rod's but also there have been no high power setups with them.
I wouldn't want to be the first person to say "my tuner toys rods snapped", so i would stick with what's been proven

As far as line honing the block. Why would you need it? Is it damaged? If not, what it does is throw off the bearing sizing. Also if you take off material off, you are moving the crank positioning up and it changes the timing. Line honing is the last resort if you cant get the bearings to measure up. there are many sizes of honda bearings you can do and if it doesnt fall into the acceptable range, then thats when you do it.
Especially in a block that is a basic rebuild, there shouldnt be any reason to do that. Those cranks and blocks are usually in pretty good condition that bearing sizes are only of by a little. It wont need that drastic measures to fix and make the bearings to work.
Tell me why you should do it?

New oil pump, and massage the ports like they do on the Endyn site. Also, there are a few other things on that site like opening up the oil holes on the girdle or something like that, I can't remember.
You made sure to knotch the block for those rods right?
Oh, and I didn't know ARP made headbolts? I would ditch those for some headstuds for obvious reasons.
