Default Linear Output on PLX M300????

I have a stock OBD1 Civic VX ECU, i think its P07, im not sure w/o looking at it.

I have a PLX M300 wideband inplace of my primary O2, and I was wondering, which color wire from the PLX, do I hook up to the ECU.

Also, which O2 pin, b/c theres 4 of them going to the ecu, does the wideband wire take place of.

I think I have it hooked up right but Im still pulling an 02 heater code.I just want to know how to use the wideband as my primary o2 in my stock ECU.

Thanks guys

I think VX's have 5 wire O2's.. and i think it's D14.. if you have it in A6 that will cause the o2 heater code..

http://www.hasport.com/Tech/Wring/egdx-vtec.pdf <-- i remember reading something about that here.. also check to see if you are counting the pins right.

I wouldn't know where to look for a VX specific wiring diagram...

looks like you want to connect the grey wire to the ECU since your ECU reads narrowband.

best i can do.

I completly forgot the VX's have 5 wire 02s.Thatll do it.
Ill just hook up the grey to my o2 signal and just wait for my Z6 ecu.

Thanks mang.

You need to go to the PLX website and download your ECU's pin-out diagram. You then can figure out your O2 sensor wiring. You will be working with the primary heated O2 sensor. On mine (99 civic si) two wires are for the sensor and two for the heater. To avoid the CEL you wire a resistor across the heater wires (check the PLX site for resistor capacity and ohms - I had to use two)

I simply cut the old narrowband O2 sensor off about 6" from the harness connector, in the engine bay then wired the resistor across the heater circuit, and then ran the grey wire from the PLX to the sensor side of the ECU and grounded the other O2 wire near the ECU.

Bottom line - No CEL's and I'm reading wideband on my guage while the ECU sees narrow. Idles right around 14.7:1

well i got my plx m300 wideband in ..power..ground are all tapped into and soldered in the wires close to the ecu...i also wired the grey narrowband wire onto the o2 sensor wire close to the ecu aswell and now im getting a CEL for code 1 and 4...o2 sensor and CKP...the distributor is only a week old...im running turboedit and i had also disabled the o2 option but it still reads it and since im getting these codes is kicks the ecu into LIMP MODE which sux....anybody have some ideas??? im gettin really pissed off now nand feel like throwing everything away
