Default Lightened Flywheel

I need your help guys!

Would installing a lightened flywheel throw off timing?

Reason I ask is whenever there is load on the car or whenever i get on it...the car starts to stutter and hesitate. It still boosts...but its not clean and smooth and boost is not reached as quick. This all happened after I had a shop install a new clutch and flywheel...and shortly after that i found a leaking fuel hose. At first i thought it was the clutch and that i needed to break it in...but its been over 1300 miles now and its not getting better.

Is it misfireing? How would I tell? Am I too rich? There is no detonation...atleast that I can hear. I used to hear detonation at high rpm before I found the leaking hose. Leaking charge pipe maybe? I've checked visually and everything is fine.

On a side note: When the car is cold and i start it up, a small amount of oil leaks out from the turbine side of the turbo...then after 3-5 secs it stops and there is no problem. I noticed this a few days after the engine started bogging. No black smoke however out the tailpipe.

Thanks for the help.

You said stutter and hesitate, maybe it's detonating.

one way to check how ur running would obviosly to get a wideband o2...however a cheap ballpark would be to pull ur plugs. if they are
white-lean
gooey black-rich

A lightweight flywheel will not throw off timing or anything else.

I assume you fixed the leaky fuel line?

yes i did fix the leaky fuel line. After that the audible detonation I was getting went away prolly due to the re-application of proper fuel pressure. I was detonating because no matter what my tuner would do, it would not richen up enough in the high rpms...he then concluded that i needed bigger injectors. But then i found the fuel leak.

I checked and replaced the plugs already. They were about 4 months old and were black...not guey though that i could tell. I replaced them with NGK 6's one step colder than stock whitch is 5. Plug wires are 3 months old. NGK wires as well.
