LHT intercooler and ITR, throttle cable too long!!
I am just finishing the install of the LHT intercooler and the only thing holding me back from starting the car is the throttle cable. Anyone know how I am supposed to installl the throttle cable.
LHT put a small bracket at the end of the end tank but it is too close for it to work. the whip of the throttle cable is too long so there is a lot of slack.
LHT is on vacation until the 24th, I have a dyno time scheduled on the 25th, I would like to know what I need to do that before so I have time to find parts if needed.
Hondata Tuning did a JRSC install and they talked about using a GSR throttle body because the bracket is attached to the TB but that woudl not still work unless I buy the throttle cable as well,
Could I use the GSR cable on the ITR?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

The roller bracket is the one I took off the original JRSC intake. IT IS NOT BOLTED TO THE LHT NOR THERE IS A PLACE TO DO THAT, I just put it there to show where JRSC had their bracket at.
As you can see the only bracket LHT gave me was that on the side of the tank. It is too close to use with the ITR cable. And even if I welded the JRSC bracket/roller, the throttle cable would rub against the edge of the water tank, adn with time that is asking for trouble not to mention it is not safe at all.

it looks like the cable shoudl be going through that little open C bracket that they welded onto the side of the cooler. that could take out some slack as well. either way, having the raw cable rubbing on anything will make it feel like ****.
