i just got my car tuned at AR Fab in winchester and howard said that for me to make more power i am going to need a bigger intercooler. im currently using a drag kit intercooler. i would like to see pics of different size intercoolers on a cars like mine.. also please post the dimensions of the intercooler including endtake and inlet/outlet size, and how difficult it was to make it fit.

Here is a pic of what im using now.. and i dont mind cutting the bumper up to make a bigger one fit it needed..

 

PWR 20x8 with the polished end tanks. Bought it from Earl, said it should support up to around 400HP, only had to remove a little of the front bumper plastic to make it fit, and the bumper support is still in, if it was removed, i probably wouldn't have had to remove as much

no he didnt.. he suggested i get a bigger one, not saying i had to, but it would benefit me if i did so i can make the power i would like to make..

i know people have more pics.. im thinking about this one..

i haven't gotten to try it out yet but i would jump on that deal

thanks alot.. i would really like to know how well this intercooler fits before i buy it.. im already having a problem installing my full-race tractions bars w/ the IC and IC piping setup i have now..

For a 12" tall intercooler your gonna have to do some hacking, maybe even remove the whole support.

 

If you have something negative to say about the bumper...I dont care

I had to hack the **** out of my bumper to make it fit, but it turned out ok

come on guys.. im tryin to make this a little technical since its in the FI forum.. what size are these intercoolers?? i would really like to see more 92-95 civics so i get a better idea..

You know TurboBumblBee if you wanna keep it as clean as possible then I would not suggest getting the 12" I/C. Max I would get for a EF/EG/EK will be 10" tall IMO.
