Default leaky intermediate shaft support bering?

also posted in Hybrid forum but got no answers.

okie specs below, but my intermediate shaft support bering is leaking, and 'im suspect its also causing a loud "clack" when i accellerat and decellerate.
i didnt know these were oil filled? is this an easy repair? in my manual, it says goto a dealer. can i just get a remanufactured shaft with the bering on it?

help, the noise is most unnerving.

same problem here, anybody know if you got to replace the whole intermidiate shaft or just that bearing?

i would imagine you could get ahold of a bearing, and have it pulled, and a new one pressed in, it's probably a matter of finding the right bearing, and person to install it

The Haynes manual says otherwise
