Know anyone who professionally chip ECU for uberdata?
I remember going through one of the FAQ thread and found a link, he would do it for $45 or so, guaranteed to work. But I lost the link.
I just couldn't find the time to do it myself plus I'm not a patient enough person, might ruin some stuff.

i do it for $50 plus shipping you supply the chips and parts. or add another $15 for the parts and i clean the flux and recoat your board. would never know it was modded...

Once I chip my ECU, do I have to have a burned EPROM chip on the socket or can I leave it open and leave it on the stock ecu temporarily?
you must chip it unless you use a removeable jumper on a particular location in which case you can remove it to go stock or replace it to run off the chip

You can put a switch on there or cut the jumper wire at J1.
