Does anybody know where the knock sensor device is located because i keep on getting CEL code 23 which means "KS (Knock Sensor) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor"
....i have a 96 gsr motor in a ek9 civic....any help would help a lot....

 

Directly above the oil filter on the back of your block. Basically your intake manifold is sitting dead in the way of the sensor, you have to get underneath to reach it. I had to replace my sensor b/c it fell out of the block.

 

so would i have to replace it if mine fell out??....or do i just plug it back in??
