Kill Switch in an EG w/ a Turbo Timer
What is needed to put a kill swith in a turbo timed car? obviously the car needs to stay running after i leave it.. so how would a kill switch come to play in this situation?
i was thinking just a starter kill, both a switch and a 'push-hold' button...? how would i go about wiring this up, would i need a relay or could i just throw a switch in the middle of the starter wire? (black/yellow i think it is?)
any help would be appreciated, im just trying to get it done now while my dash and interior is out. Thanks in advance

It can be rigged up with a relay, I had it set up with my old alarm, but got lazy when installing the new one, pm me if you have any questions.

I did it, Press a button once then start the car, car will run after it is turned off, but won't start till the button is pressed. I do a diagram when I have time.

why not just put a switch in line with the starter "start" signal wire from the ECU? there can't be very much voltage going thru that line.

Re: Kill Switch in an EG w/ a Turbo Timer (civicdxtyper)
usually the kill switch is wired into the ebrake with a turbo timer....So when you do leave ur turbo timer on...and if sumone just happens to hop in and let the ebrake down...it will shut the car off immediatley....

this pdf shows how you can make stock switches like ebrake, cig lighter, headlight switch, etc... starter/fuel kill switches with a relay
ive thought about a fuel cutoff w/ a turbotimer but its way over my head, starter is alot easier.
