Default just tuned with uberdata.. a couple minor problems

finally got uberdata to work right in my car..setup is b18b jrsc @ 10psi with msd 358cc and P06 ecu..

had the wideband on and finally got the car running without any codes.. put the o2 sensor back in and 5 codes came back on.. they were the same ones we "fixed" with the wideband in.. car doesnt run in limp mode and drives very strong.. seems pretty normal aside from idle.. my guess is the codes will clear itself in a day or so? any ideas?

also, with the wideband on, i had idle at 750 with no surging.. now, it idles at about 2000 and occasionally surges from 1100-1500.. any ideas on how to fix this?

thanks in advance

You'll probably get more help here: http://www.ecimulti.org/uberda...ard=2

Why not disable closed loop and run the car constantly in open loop. It will read from the rom tables then instead of the stock tables on the board.

the codes won't magically disappear in a few days. Why don't you just reset the ECU and see if they come back?

Are you disabling the correct stuff in the Misc tab? like, o2 heater, knock sensor, ect? I don't know exactly what you need to disable for your setup. go check out the uberdata forum.

You have to tell us which 5 codes you're getting in order for us to help.

for the idling problem, when im in 1st gear and i have the clutch slightly pushed in, the rpms drop to about 850ish.. if i push the clutch in more, it gets a bit higher..

go back to the uberdata forum and read the reply. and post your codes there.

You need to go to the uberdata forum and read way more. Your problem has been covered there.

see the little check mark that says "o2 heater disable'... hrummm maybe that has something to do with your o2 code....naw couldn't be....

You need to disbale o2 heater and closed loop. That will fix all the o2 codes. But the tps one seems weird. Ask on the board.

Tune it.

Running constantly in open loop will make you run extremely rich in partial throttle. Tune it and it should be fine. I run in open loop all the time. I just tuned my car in partial throttle. Not done yet but I get probably like 24mpg.
