just put my greddy 15g kit on my sohc...and..
just installed a greddy 15g kit on my 96 dx hatchback
everything is on,runs fine
i am runnin missing link, fmu, and inline fuel pump..
everything is connected with a t, all cuplers are tight.
everytime i rev past 4k ish it cuts out
feels like no fuel....
the fuel pump is on,its loud.
fmu is all hooked up right
using stock dx injectors
when i take it up towards 4k it feels like its gonna move but then like pops
i retarted the timing and gappedmy spark plugs to 28-29
whats wrong , im using no engine management
tomorw if i cant get this running right ,im just gonna hook up my afc and runn 450's...
help me!

whoa whoa your lucky you havent blown the engine don not boost a car on stock ecu and no engine management the ecu is pretty much dumping the same amount of fuel in the engine as if the turbo wasnt there. get some injectors and atleast get that afc on there untill you can get crome or uberdata.

Never mind. Try gapping them a little tighter. But your problem definitley sounds like a management one.
Get something better than stock injector/fmu setup. I tried that crap with my first kit and had the same problems. Sell all that stuff and upgrade your injectors and run a chipped ecu. Or if you don't have the money run some bigger injectors and your safc that you already have.

listen to people. Dont run an afc or fmu. Run some real engine managment. Also your distributor shouldnt need retarded all the way. How much boost are you running? If your running 5-6psi a base timing of 10* will probably be plenty safe, but it will probably run like poo out of full boost.

the fuel pump is mounted on the line between the fuel rail and the feul filter...
i wanna run real managment but i wanna get this running good first.
shud i just ditch all the fmu,,inline pump all together.and just run 450cs with resistors and my afc?
i dont have any check engline light!

You need more fuel, nuff said. Those injectors are pushing way too much fuel pressure and can possibly seize up entirely.
Don't half *** it and then complain two weeks later that your motor blew, and Greddy sucks, blah blah blah. You knew the risks, why push it?
