Just made some new dyno numbers on my fresh engine
Went down to RLZ and let Howard retune my car on 10psi. It made 314whp and 205 torque on the new bottom end and Endyn breather setup on a hot engine might have made a few more on a cooler engine. On stock JDM GSR engine and 8psi it made 280whp and Im thinking around 170 torque or something like that but only lasted about month until some ringlands went. Only thing that worries me a little is more smoke than Howard is used to was coming out of the Endyn breather when he was doing some pulls in the upper rpm's while tuning full throttle. It started to clear up on the last run or 2. Engine does not have 1000 miles on it yet but its running great. Its def gonna get beat on now that its tuned cause thats what I built it for!!!!
here is the plot
Here is the setup:
B18c stock sleeves
81mm Wiseco 9.5:1 compression
Eagle Rods
ARP Headstuds
Endyn breather setup
Bone stock GSR top end
Blox Intake manifold
Precision 650cc or 680cc or something like that injectors
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
Stock Map sensor
Stock Fuel Pressure Regulator
turbo setup:
Drag manifold
Drag Turbonetics T3/T4 not sure on the trim
Turbosmart 35mm wastegate with the 10psi spring
Rev Hard Intercooler
2" piping from turbo to intercooler
2.5" piping from intercooler to throttle body
2.5" downpipe
2.5" mandrel Kteller exhaust
transmission:
Competition Clutch Stage 5... 4 puck sprung hub
Ill post up the dyno graph later

Re: Just made some new dyno numbers on my fresh engine (komat)
hey thanks man I thought they were good numbers myself
I would go for more but Im using stock MAP and dont have a boost controller. Plus in my opinion much over 300whp on a car such as mine alot of that is going to go to waste. because all it will do is spin half the time unless I get some good tires.

nice numbers
how harsh is the clutch engagement? a friend just ordered a CC stage 4 and they sent him a 5 and he's debating whether he should send it back or not.

Nice numbers, what did the build cost you since I am debating on doing the same thing. Did you do it yourself?

Clutch engagement is a little harsh it will vibrate the car pretty good if you dont watch out but I love it. Pedal pressure is softer than stock but it grips hard. I would use it although I have heard good stuff about the stage 4 as well.

Build was on a budget so to speak but ended up costing a little more because of a problem that I encountered after putting about 20 miles on the engine. Anyways needless to say it is gonna cost you about $2000+ for rebuild. I didnt really do the rebuild myself but I did help on certain parts of it. I had a guy on h-t do my rebuild.

Re: (Boostfed.com)
Likewise Terry it was rad to meet you in person. Thanks for the compliment on the car although it could be alot cleaner if I had the $$$$$ to do it. What can you do when you are a broke college student that lives back with his parents???
Oh yeah boostfed's car did beat the life out of mine!!...........only because I was spinning in the rain through 4th gear j/k

Excuses excuses, my wife's daily driver is a MONSTER, bone stock D15B with 300,000 miles with a stock 00 Si exhaust on it
Edit:When this car had a test pipe on it , it dynoed about 94whp y0 and that was with an open intake filter too for ***** and giggles.
But yeah it was nice to put a face with a name and again the car is nice man. Hit me up with any parts you need NO EBAY pricing but damn

Re: (99B16Si)
The engine will actually rev a little higher than what is shown on the dyno plot. I think my tuner just lets out when the shift light comes on or something I dont know?
If I were to change up the valvetrain so it would rev higher I could gain a nice amount from that on another tune. Just dont have the money for that right now

very good numbers. looks good for 10psi. i only made 279hp and 189ft-lbs of torque at 9psi on my stock gsr. i'm sure you can pull a little more out of it if you wanted.
