Just looking into the future.. but need help with this..
A b20 bored and sleeved to 2.1- 2.2 liters (i believe its 85-86mm). What problems will i have with the head (B18c5 head), If i do all the stuff needed for to make the nonvtec bottom end + vtec head work properly... Im not asking about the actually process, or the parts needed just for the nonvtec bottom on the vtec head. I am asking if the bore size is gonna have any effect on it?
Will i need custom head gaskets? I know ill need custom pistons, valves, what about rods?
thanx alot,
Jordo
ps: what else would be effected? would the rod ratio be to horrible to rev to normal 8500rpms....
Would it be cheaper/better just to get a gsr block and bore and sleeve to 84.5mm??

You can use shelf pistons, factory valves, and shelf rods.

won't he have to match the head with the new larger bore?
Depends on who you ask.
