I just want to let everyone know, I looked into this a little bit and the SSAUTOCHROME manifolds on ebay are NOT OBX manifolds. They are two totally different peices. If you go to the http://www.obxracingsports.com website you can see for yourself, but i'll make it obvious for everyone. Yes they are similar, but you can't judge the OBX by looks. Here's how I KNOW they are different:



here's the SS autochrome above. Look at it closely.


and here's the OBX. Notice how the wastegate is on the OTHER SIDE!? They are NOT the same peice. I bought OBX headers when I first got my car, as well as did a friend of mine. We both ran them for almost two years, great fitment, nice looks, SS, and no cracks. OBX products are GOOD for the money! Lastly, notice how the OBX manifold ***** the turbo the other way (COUNTER-clockwise, from the top) as opposed to clockwise, like the SSautochrome.

To add, the ONLY place I know of that sells REAL obx stuff is http://www.massivemorotsports.com -- they have the REAL obx manifold?

I've seen the quality of the SSAUTOCHROME 4-1 headers, and I've also seen other OBX products, both brands whether they are different or not SUCK ***!

And I've seen BOTH manifolds above crack, IN PERSON! Regardless which is which i've seen the one with the wastegate on the left crack, and the one with the wastegate on the right crack as well.. CRAP!!

could it be that since OBX does so much private labeling that SO many company's suddenly have similar looking products? Or are there suddenly many more makers of manifolds - which is more logical?

no matter whos name is on it, they are still made from thin walled 304 stainless which is not suitable to deal with repeated stress and heat of a turbo charged application.

i just got one from ebay for 100 bucks, i have a drag right now and i figured i would run this one untill i can come up with 1200 for the full race. imm curous how they do this weekend at pomona.

thought i would be running but i blew out the 6 puck two days ago and now i have to pull the tranny. owell time for the LSD while its out

actually (hides face in embarassment) I was paid by SSAUTOCHROME to put my manifold on my car. (yes that integra you see in some e-bay ads are mine) Funny enough, my Boxes that i got everything in said OBX.......
