Just got my car back from T1...
Here's the dyno, I'm happy with the results! This was all tuned on pump gas @ 17lbs. They also did some head work with fresh Supertech valvetrain and a new wastegate. 382whp
... old setup w/o valvetrain and PIT wastegate, pump gas 15lbs.
Motor:
- Stock Sleeved b16a2
- JE 10:1 Pistons
- Eagle Rods
- Supertech Valvetrain
- GSR Cams
- Skunk2 IM
Head:
- Blox Cast Manifold
- Garrett T3/T4 57trim
- 3" Dp, Exhaust
- Tial 44mm Wg
- 2.5" hot/cold charge pipes
- RC 750s
Tuned on Hondata s300
Thanks Tony and staff at T1 Race Development!

Thanks for the comments, yup it's red. I used my money I wanted for some new rims on motor work. I'm going to have to butter my wife up for more parts (sleeves, lsd) later in the future lol

Re: Just got my car back from T1...
Nice!
Maybe I should create my own post, but what is the reason for upgrading the valvetrain? I have a pretty similar setup (stock GSR head). I realize you did some headwork, but if you didn't rev it any higher after the valvetrain work, what's the point of building the head? Is it because you can melt a stock valve at these #'s? If so, I need to do my valvetrain because I'm making similar #'s.

Re: Just got my car back from T1...
It seems like it'd be easier and much cheaper to just rev to 8,300 and call it good. I'm not saying it's not a good mod, but a grand of headwork to rev another 700 just doesn't seem like it's worth it for <400whp. I'm not saying it was a bad idea by any means... i'm just wondering if there is a good reason for me to build my head. Some Skunk 2 Tuner 1's would probably go very well with this built head... but damn those are expensive too! I guess I'm just too cheap for hondas!

Re: Just got my car back from T1...
The reason you rev higher isn't necessarily to carry the engine powerband farther, it's so that you can stay in a numerically lower gear, longer... you take advantage of the transmission torque conversion that way. You make a lot more effective torque in 1st gear at 9k than you do in 2nd gear at 6k
