Just got back from the dyno
My B18a non vtec made 233whp at 219ft of torque. I am very pleased with the numbers. It was dyno day at Agostino's today. Two pulls for 40 bucks. Both pulls were done at 13psi. I know the numbers look low for my setup but thats not what pleases me. What pleases me is that it did it at 5600rpm. I ran out of injector at 5600rpm. I need 720cc injectors. The graph was going straight up until it hit 5600rpm. I will scan in the dyno sheet on Monday when I get to work. My mods are:
B18A block bored 20 over
> Eagle rods
> SRP forged pistons
> TypeR oil pump
> STR blockguard
> ARP head studs
> B18A head ported by JG
> JG 1001 cams
> AEM cam gears
> Skunk2 intake manifold
> 65mm throttlebody
> 450cc injectors
> 3 bar map sensor
> B18A LS tranny
> Stock flywheel lightened
> from 18 pounds to 13
> Clutch Masters Stage3
> clutch and pressure plate
> Aluminum crank pulley
> Walbro 255 intank pump
> B&M adjustable fuel
> pressure regulator
> JG turbo manifold
> Richard Lee wastegate
> (supports 800hp, took that off my Buick too)
> T3T40E A/R- 60 M-10
turbo
> (Stock Buick Grand National turbo modified)
> 2 1/4 intercooler piping
> Buick Grand National
> Intercooler modified for front mount
> HKS Super Seq Blowoff
> Taylor 8 mm wires
> After market fuel filter
> to replace the stock junk.

Re: Just got back from the dyno (MIKES)
not bad. get those injectors in, I want to see what it will make at 6500, judging by ur set up ur torque should fall off alot less then mine. I think youll make over 270whp.

Yea, thats no good. you should be making lots more power and torque at 13psi. you are in for a surprise once you get that thing tuned right

Re: Just got back from the dyno (b18b98)
I was running 50psi of fuel pressure with the vaccum on. These were just baseline pulls. Everybody had 15mins and two pulls. So all I did was just throw one gallon of C16 in the tank just to be safe with a half tank of Sunoco 94. I didn't have my labtop with me to make any mods to the program I know I am going to be very pleased when this is addressed because I still have another 2500rpm to go.
I took my GN turbo to the machine shop and they chopped off the three bolt flange and put on the 4 bolt one to match my turbo manifold.

Re: Just got back from the dyno (ATgrills.com)
94goldjungsr- The deal was 2 pulls with no A/F ratio monitor. 40 bucks is preety cheap. I just went because I was curious at what she would produce. I will post my dyno plots tomorrow when I get to work.
ATgrills-$80U.S and they are yours. They were just cleaned and flow tested 2 weeks ago. They are basically brand new and flow within 1/2 a percent of each other.

maybe its just me but 233 at the wheels seems a little low for 13 psi and all that other stuff you have. was the car properly tuned?
