Guess you guys would think my 11:1 a/f in boost was stupid safe then . I was running a total of 20deg of timing and 11:1 in boost, motor is still in great shape after 4months of 10.3psi

I love that you think 12.5 afrs is TOO lean yet you are killing your setup much faster with 'the hack'

With the advance timing you are running, your bearings must love you

Running your car at 11:0 vs 12:5 at low boost levels and proper timing...all you are doing is wasting gas.

Oh and losing a bit of power...

Hey buddy

If it makes you feel better, my last check was 210-180-150-130 Sounds like a WRX now

Blowing off that vacume line on the wastegate in 2nd gear at the dragstip didn't help any.

I still don't see the relevance of that to the price of tea in china, but lol, which ever. Just tear that block down so I can make my whopping $10, lol.

I was wondering if one of the always positive members of H-T would reply like such.....

He is a member on a local board that I moderate. Just my way of saying hey to him in HIS post on H-T, thought it was funny that I saw his post on here.........that is all.

VNTEC, there was a guy on our board that was selling a GSR longblock with tranny last week, didn't want to part it out. Now I hear he is selling just the shortblock, pretty cheap I think. Also, you should do a leakdown test 1st.
