Just did a compression check
Compression gauge read 200 PSI in all four pistons.
I've done compression checks in the past that resulted in lower numbers, but I don't think the engine was warm enough during the previous tests.
When I did it today, the engine was at operating temperature. I think this is why my compression yeilded higher numbers today vs. previous tests. I'm pretty confident my block is going to hold up to the boost now.
The jist of the set up will be:
JDM GSR block
CTR Intake Cam
GT30R
S300
880CC injectors
Skunk2 IM
Tial 38mm WG
7-10 PSI of boost
I'm thinking with a good tune it should be pretty reliable. I will be driving the car about 4-5 times a week.
I just have a few more parts to accumulate before starting the build.
