Default just boosted.

hey guys, i just got my car done and boosting. its a blast. anywho, my setup for the next two weeks (untill my p28 gets here) is a b20, maxrev style mani, t3/t4 .48 exhaust and .50 comrpessor (with lots of shaftplay thanks to a ******* liar on this site), and 3 inch downpipe...

my tial 35mm wastegate dosent have a fire ring because i only have a ring for a 38mm, i few people told me it was the same but the 38 wont seal it... works fine, just loud as hell. (if you have a 35mm ring for sale pm me)

im using the vafc hack for the next couple weeks. i put the monitor on pressure and correction... on my boostgauge, it says i get 6 psi, which i right. but the vafc says max of 0.00... i went to "graph scale" and upped it to 1 bar and still got the same reading, anyone know what thats about?

im using a zeitronix wideband and im getting good 12.3-13.0 airfuels in boost. what should i shoot for out of boost? with the hack, my high and low settings should be the same right? that part throttle bucking everyone talks about is not there for me, drives like its stock, only real loud.

anyone have an idea about my vafc question? its wierd. suggestions and comments? please no flames, im a big *****.

check the pressure signal wire from the VAFC, it may have come undone. or you can go into the menu and do a sensor check to see if they are working.

I would stay under 12:1 afr..under boost. Just to keep the engine cooler.... Be safe then sorry. -=P 12.5:1 would gain you little of a power, so be safe.

the pressure is working, just not reading boost. it reads vacuum and goes up when i hit the gas, its ****** wierd. it jumps arround alot along with the tps signal, whats a good af when im just crusing at like 60? its at like 14 when im crusing rightnow.

do you have a missing link on your map sensor...
the missing link is just a check valve that keeps boost pressure from showing up on your map sensor so your stock ecu doesnt throw a code and turn into limp-home-mode.. the missing link will just screw things up when running the vafc hack. .. pull that missing link off of your throtle body then see.
