i think its bullshit some people get threads locked and dont get points docked, yet i posted something and i put OT: in the title thread and still get 2 points docked

I should have asked in a different manner and didn't mean to break the forum rules. (same goes for the post I was asking about). I was just trying to get some info and do alittle snoopping so to speak. You can delete it. Will be alittle more careful next time.

Dustins right...the reason it was locked was due to the forum rules. I didnt lock it personally, but thats why.

I tend to bend the rules if technical discussion comes from it...the rules are made to enforce tech discussion, not just to be rules. If your buddy wants to post about the block, I wouild advise him to include some technical info, and not start the thread with "OT Look what I got"

And we cant get to every thread guys, so please use the report to moderator function if you question a thread. The last thing that matters to us is people saying "why is that thread not locked and mine is?" because the answer is going to be "because we didnt see it." Because someone else posts something stupid doesnt mean you get to also.

And Im real easy, I dont dock points often and Im generally soft since I know a lot of you on and off the forums. So if you respect me, I show the same respect and I typically dont dock points or anything, I feel like we're all adults here and thats unnecessary. Dont take it personally, if your thread gets locked, its because its against the rules, no big deal. I dont play that bias **** either....I dont tune cars, I dont sell muffler bearings, and I dont run raffles....I never make a decision based on anything but being against or in line with the rules we developed to facilitate positive, productive, technical discussion.
