i jus got my turbo shipped froma HT member ... greddy 18g for gsr.. when i looked at it. the side that pushes air in the manifold looked dirty so i stuck my finger in their. it got a lil wet with oil.. i comfronted the person i bought it from n he said the turbo had jus came off n it had oil in it so it might have got into that side... is it ok for oil to b in there? i mean its not hella barely enough to get my finger wet...
i need input please thank you

 

Errr, there shoulld't be oil in the compressor side at all, unless the previous owner was careless and spilled some into it. Sounds like bad seals.

 

dunno man. A decent amount of oil was prolly still in the center if it was just taken off. Depending on how it was packed i guess some could have gotten on there.

 

maybe he was recirculating the pcv back into the intake
