Default Junkyard turbo

How does a T3 from an 88 Merkur Xrti compare to a T3 from a thunderbird... I know that the T3 from the thunderbird is a 60 trim, what about the merkur? I have been told to get a turbo from the thunderbird but I can't seem to find one at a local junkyard, so how does the T3 from the Merkur stack up...

the compressors are the same. The engines are identical and have the same setup. Most of the Merkers came with .48 exhaust housings. The thunerbirds came with both .48 and .63. I think it varied whether the car was automatic or stick.
