Default Jumpy Tach problem

I figured i'd ask in here since this is where i hang out most of the time (and where all the smart people are)

My tach gets jumpy when i hit vtec. I changed my ignitor already. VTEC wires are all hooked up right. Any ideas?

Maybe check all the ground points inside the dizzy. Also check all the connections within the plugs for the dizzy. Just sounds like a wire isn't making good contact.

How about the coil? heck, try a completely different distributor (from a friend... you have friends right? hehe)

jumpy tach is usually from the ignitor or a bad engine ground.....is your engine re-grounded? try that
