JRSC's love 3" tubing. If you can get it at a good price, might as well. Do before and after dynos if you really wanna see if you got your money's worth.

My setup loves it's Iceman tapered SRI.
The j's will also give you a larger storage area to take from, which "in theory" should help with throttle response. Of course that theory also says that you'll have more tip-in throttle problems, but like I said, it's all theory.
Let us know how it works if you go for it.
I know Gubo22 had great luck with his J's and an SOHC jrsc.
