You probably should have dumbed down the title of that thread so these idiots could find it with a search instead of always creating new threads.

**EDIT**

Your search for turbo supercharger returned 282 results.

I guess the idiots have no excuse after all.

On second thought...

You really have to look at the setup & what your goals are. IIRC it was a track car, meaning he needed instant response and a powerful topend. If you want under 300whp, you can accomplish nearly instant boost with a well-selected turbo.

There's also a guy over at HMT that's doing a dual charge setup on a subie wagon - in series. IIRC the turbo feeds the SC, and he's pushing high-20's for psi. I feel the parallel deal is the best when you use a roots-style SC.

I just wanted to say that is awesome. I just read that whole thread, and it informed me quite a bit... I have been thinking of doing a setup like this for quite sometime now, i just couldn't figure out a way to bypass the blower. It's making more and more since to me now everytime i think about it. Thank you!!!

I was also wondering, what compression ratio were you running in the motor? And you wouldn't happen to have any of those diverter valves do you?? haha

Thanks again. I'm very enlightened! -dustin

That motor was 8.5:1, for that setup build it like a turbo motor. Another alternative is the TVS blower, which should be efficient to 18 PSI. An Eaton engineer at SEMA said that they should have a CCW TVS blower that will be a direct relpacement for the JRSC M62.
